This fab Event kicked off with a Private View on Friday 4th May and is running all Bank Holiday weekend. They could not have asked for better weather which is a blessing as so much of the art is displayed outside in the beautiful gardens of Glemham. Lots of sculpture this year and some real corkers too. The Private View is always lovely as there is a palpable air of excitement as people try to get the one piece they have had their eye on before anyone else, plus you get to see and speak to all the Artists. Many of them will hang around near their work so you can have a pretty in depth conversation about a piece or their technique etc. A smattering of well known faces but this event is not about celebrity - it's all about beating Breast Cancer. Belinda Gray and her huge band of volunteers will be very proud this year as I imagine they will have raised an extraordinary amount for this very topical and very important cause.
